shout out to the entrepreneurs|grasshopper video

A little inspiration to kickstart the week.

Re-branding from the folks formerly known as GotVMail (who?), now known as grasshopper.com. Yup, it worked. A great example of using social networking, as well. Posted on YouTube, linked on Facebook by my friend Sean, and then picked up and blogged. I’m about to email the writer, Sonja Jacob….this is how it’s done.  Of course, it works because it’s a terrific piece, and the client invested in good writing, design and creativity.

Original music by Carly Comando. Written and produced by Sonja Jacob. Designed by Ben White in the UK.

I’m ready for some Monday morning world changing. How about you?

Thanks for your support, and for commenting over at my blog!

I’m really excited that the video got your attention, but most importantly, conveyed the right message. Coming from someone with as much background in design and strategy as you have, your compliments really mean a lot.

The funny thing about the video is that it speaks to so many different people, whether they consider themselves entrepreneurs or not. At the most basic level, it’s about re-capturing that feeling of invincibility and hope, and using it to make change in the world. There will always be cynics, but if you don’t start somewhere, social change can be overwhelming.

The next era of entrepreneurship will be defined by how much it serves the greater good, and I think we’re all trying to find powerful ways to give dimension to this “new day,” if you will.

    Thanks again, Kim!
